10 days on from the disappointing defeat against Stoke, City head to Lancashire to face promotion hopefuls Burnley at Turf Moor which is historically not a happy hunting ground for us.

The Clarets are back with us this season after another stint in the Premier League which ended up with them relegated with just 24 points and in the reverse game this season we managed to hold them to a point with a 1-1 draw.

Head coach Ruben Selles can welcome new addition John Egan ironically signed from Burnley on deadline day, injury doubts however are Lincoln Henrique and Cody Drameh are doubts and Charlie Hughes and Kasey Palmer are back out on the grass but are not yet fit to play.

City’s record at Burnley in the last twenty years in quite frankly pitiful, just two victories from 11 trips ironically both in promotion seasons in 07-08 and 12-13, the last two trips have been 1-1 draws with remainder been defeats.

With Tuesday nights results city now sit in the bottom three on goal difference so any positive result would be good going into Saturdays home fixture with Norwich a game city must look to win to boost their survival chances.

Lets hope we can make an upturn in fortunes in that particular part of the red rose county and finally start to drag ourselves clear of the bottom three with games quickly coming.
