A Room to Remember

Andy Davidson, the leading appearances maker in Hull City’s history, was remembered at a special social event at the East Yorkshire house in which he once lived.

It is now his daughter Julie’s home and the family have now turned one of its rooms, which also has a bar in it, into a spectacular memorial to Davidson with extensive photographs, articles and cuttings from his lengthy. illustrious City career.

And during this autumn six ex-Tigers – Chris Simpkin, Tom Wilson, Stuart Blampey, Malcolm Lord, John Hawley and Stan McEwan – accepted an invitation to see the room and exchange stories at a function hosted by Davidson’s wife Susan and daughters Julie and Angela.
